Can I access Sunday morning volunteer signups and scheduling requests on Church Center?

Yes! Go to your profile (the icon in the top-right corner of the screen). Any open signups or volunteer requests will be visible at the top under “My Schedule.” 
Tap the “Actions” button to add volunteer blockout dates or email a team leader. Please contact your team leaders with any questions about the volunteer schedule on Sunday morning.
How do I see all the information related to me (my volunteer schedule, groups I belong to, my donor history, etc.)?
Once you have logged in on the website or opened the mobile app, your profile is located in the top-right corner of the screen. Click the icon with your picture. If you have not uploaded a picture, you will either see a circle icon with your initials (website) or you will see a person icon (mobile app).

How do I access the Directory? (For Blacknall members and regular attenders)

If you are a Blacknall member or regular attender, unless there was a clerical error on our part, you should already have permission to access the online directory and do not need to register to join.

Here are the steps to access the directory:
  1. Log in to the website (top-right corner) or download and log in to the mobile app. You must log in with an email address or mobile phone number that the church has on file for you. That is how your identity is verified. Please contact the church office if you're not sure what information we have in our records.
     
  2. Click the "Directory" menu option. Located in the navigation at the top of the website or at the bottom of the mobile app.
     
  3. Click the "Share Now" link or button. You should see a blue hyperlink at the top of the website or a blue-green button at the bottom of the mobile app.
     
  4. Select the information you want to share in the directory. Any contact details that you do not select will remain private and hidden from other members of the directory. All adults in a household have the ability to share the details of any member of his or her household.
If you are still unable to access the directory, please contact the church office at churchoffice@blacknall.org or submit a request to receive Directory access. Please note that completing this form does not immediately grant you access to the Directory. We review every request to protect the privacy of our congregation.  

When your request is approved, you will receive an invitation with a link to join the Directory at the email address(es) you provide. Follow the link to Church Center, log in, and click “Share it now.” (See detailed instructions above.)

How do I add a picture to my profile?

Connecting names with faces is an important part of building community. We strongly encourage all adults in the directory to add a picture. The easiest way is to click More > Update My Contact Info > and tap/click the circle icon with your initials to upload a photo.

How do I add a picture of my household?

The easiest way is to go to More > Share/Hide Directory Details > and scroll to your household; where it says "Household Photo" you can click the "Edit" button to add a picture.

What are “Links”?

This tab includes protected links and documents, e.g., Session Minutes, Finance Committee Updates, Zoom links, and Prayer Concerns. Passwords are in the link descriptions. You will also find other useful links on this page to help get you connected to ministry groups.
If you do not see these links, contact the Church Office at churchoffice@blacknall.org to request access.

Where can I sign up for a ministry team or small group?

You find and sign up for small groups and other types of ministry and community groups by going to More > Groups > and scroll down to the section called “Find a Group.” 
If you cannot find the group you are looking to join, please contact the Church Office at churchoffice@blacknall.org.

Where can I find my giving statement?

In Church Center, you can view your giving history dating back to 2012 by navigating to your profile and scrolling to the bottom where it says, “My giving.” There you can also find your official yearly giving statement. (If you need an official statement for donations made before 2023, please contact finance@blacknall.org.)

What is the difference between Church Center and Planning Center?

Church Center is a tool within Planning Center Online (PCO), Blacknall’s church management system (officially replaced CCB in March 2023). Church Center is the congregation-facing mobile app and website that acts as the hub of all church activity created through PCO. PCO is a suite of admin-facing tools that are used by Blacknall ministry leaders to organize and publish information on Church Center. Other Planning Center tools include:
  • Services (Sunday volunteer scheduling and worship plans)
  • Groups (groups administration)
  • Registrations (registration form builder)
  • Calendar (facilities scheduling and management)
  • People (internal congregational database and workflows)
